    Rear end feels loose

Lately I have felt that the rear on my M3 doesn't feel as planted as before. It feels like it wants to step out going around corners and seems to float a bit going in straight lines. The suspension only has 15,000mi on it and I feel it in dry and wet weather and I have decent tread left.

Could I have some bushings that are going bad and how can I check to see if they are.

    Any other ideas?

RTAB's get the shims when you do them

Are you on stock rear shock mounts? Do those with new RTABs and shims and you should be set.

Check/replace your RTAB's and get the Ground Control shims.

Thanks. I have OEM RSMs (replaced with suspension) Don't know about the RTABs though. What do I need to look for, just broken rubber?

hey guys, i have full powerflex bushings set on my car and let me tell you it COMPLETELY transformed my car. The powerflex RTAB's, rear subframe bushings, front control arm bushings. car drives 100% strraight under full throttle and through the corners steering is transformed, i know it may seem expensive at about $300ish for the whole set but i promise it will transform your car. same bang/buck as the X-brace if not better (best analogy i can think of).

What are these shims you are all talking about?

                  Hey SupaBimma,

Please pardon my ignorance and advise if RTABs abbreviated rear trailing arm bushing. :nixweiss: Also, what are the powerflex bushings made of? How many miles have you used them? Did you install them yourself?

                  Thanks,
