mikasa, the windows push up after you close the door because they are programmed to do so to make a tighter seal so water doesn't leak in.



It can't be because of pressure reasons that they go up because one... if you play with the door closing it and opening slowly you'll notice it goes up and down. and two if it were due to pressure there would have to be something changing the pressure so if you open up your rear window and close the door theoretically the windows should not go up. But they still do.

on my 95 m3, it doesnt have hardly as much sound deadening as say my other 95 530i (e34) i mean its only the rear seats, and that panel around the rear speakers, in the 530 it had an entire metal plate between the trunk and the cabin, and then like 2inches of padding/sound deadening and then the thick seats, and the panel around the speakers had sound deadening between the trunk and the cabin... now that was tough getting any bass through that
