24# Injectors

Since I have the 24#ers laying around I fugured i'd pop them in just to see what would happen.



I think that the thing does have a bit more zap up top with the 24s vs the 21.5s, I sorta figured that with the M50 manifold that the motor could use a bit more north of 4500 where the manifold is supposed to flow more.



She runs fine at idle and putting around...

hmm... do u think it was necessary to have the 24's with the M50? i mean they don't require it.. but hmmm..

you are wasting your time if you think 24# injectors are going to make any difference whatsoever over 21.5# injectors.

HOWEVER



if done in conjunction with appropriate cams, intake plenum, headers, TB and exhaust crank HP of 300+ can be had. Ask BMWCCACR IP racers.

The butt dyno and the rate of clockwise tach spin up tells me that the little blue guys did do something...Nothing earth shattering, but I really do notice a little differance.



Swapping injectors is like a 10 minute operation, and like I said I had the 24s lying around, so being bored I popped them in.



I would like to do the cams but I need to do some more research on thier ability to pass California Smog. Pulling off a manifold would ****, but having to swap cams back for smog would be totally impractical...
