Nice car in all, but get it out during the BMW Track days and use it like they built it. Stop being a panzy and drive the thing home.
Edit: Oh and most the things on there are normal repairs.
Funny thing is I did an install on both of these parts just like 2 weeks ago on an overheating M3.... Cooling:metal impellor water pump, metal thermostat housing. And thats no mod. And also the euro brakes arn't performance. There about the same in braking distance compaired to the US brakes.
And the car could be more of a blessing, if it had a turbo kit, and wider wheels. Maybe 17x9's or even 17x10's
Just maybe.

I wouldnt call me a panzy for not driving it home. I am a student at Texas A&M and have a full time job. I just dont have the time man. I would love to drive the car home if I could.....ok lets see....next comment from you....the euro brakes are better performance. Even if you put a big brake kit on you stopping distance wont be that much shorter. The Euro brakes dissapate heat better, I would call that better performance for what I will be using it for since YES I will take it on the track. Already looking at some different pads and some cooling ducks. Texas World Speedway is only 10 miles from me and there are a lot of Drivers Edge days that go on out there that Ive been to. Fun stuff......I knew someone had say somethin bad, this is a forum right

So if the normal sessions of a track day is 20 to 30 minutes each, and seeing that Ty's car with stock brakes with track pads and R comp tires didn't have any brake fade at all at the end of the session with a great driver, why upgrade to floating brakes when the stock do just great. And even if they dissapate better I would like to see a chart that has stock brakes vs. Euro's vs. a bbk kit for amount of heat they can take and how fast they can dissapate.

Its not like I think they are some miracle rotor or somethin. Ive seen plenty of E36 M3's grounded due to boiling, and some that have had no problem. Its just an upgrade that will help out with cooling. No need to push the limit on the brake heat. Im sorry your upset that I have upgraded rotors man.
