how much is it? I have heard it does , but tell me guys, what ELSE do u need in particular to make it worth it? If u have a STOCK 97 M3, where do u start?? Shark Inj? CAI? Software? Chip? Catback??

from what i've read, the shark injector is best when paired with a cai and exhaust. it ultimately takes advantage of higher octane gas (91+) so by freeing up the way the car breathes (intake and exhaust), and getting more air into and out of the engine, you will benifit more from the software and higher octane gas.
i have all three (AA CAI, AA Gen III Exhaust, JC Shark Injector). I felt gains but again, Red-KAT is correct in saying you can't judge the gains with a butt dyno since there are many factors on how your car will perform at a certain moment (temperature, humidity, altitude, your mood...). do you ever feel like your car feels faster some days and not others and you've done nothing to it?
in my experiences with chip/software upgrades, you will not be able to feel its gains since it does not provide you a big (or even moderate) gain in a concentrated rpm range but instead gives you a little gain all throughout the rpm band. maybe that's why many JC Shark Injector users claim a smoother accelleration. i've had 2 cars that have been chipped and the gains are similar to the gains felt with the shark injector. my 2 previous cars were dynoed before and after being chipped and small gains (2-5) in hp and torque were evident across the board with bigger gains down low.
like i said in my previous post, i plan on putting this topic to bed when i dyno w/ and w/o JC software soon.
