I was talking about the high performance cylinder heads. Sorry I know the difference btw headers/exhause manifold. I mean what do you think of the high performance cylinder head. When its time for headers, Im going with AA's setup.
I really dont see the point of going with one of their cylinder heads....its really an expensive route to eek out very little power. If you are building a higher revving race motor and need to install solid lifters to run up to 7600+ rpms....even then I would probably still just upgrade those parts necessary and not spend the money on a full prepped Stage 3 head...roughly $4k when you figure in the core charge.
They are available cheaper through www.vacmotorsports.com , and of the same quality..but in reality the stock head is very free-flowing without porting and polishing it or doing a valve job. Also, the fact that the Bekkers head uses Titanium retainers which really shouldnt be run on a street car as they are a wear item, and will need to be replaced after 20K miles or so.
Unless you are pusihg big boost I really dont see the need for these performance heads. I do see that the Bekkers head raises the compression to 10.8:1 which leads me to believe its also going to require a custom software setup (also the cam profiles arent listed but being as how they are going to be higher lift and duration..you will need a very specific custom software)
About the AA headers...they arent available any longer. Either Supersprint or KromerKraft are your options for HP producing headers (and the KK headers are more than $2200 all by themselves).
