Can I upgrade my C33 to a C43 or CD43? IF so, plug and play, easy? Or extra wiring? I would thing wiring would be simple unplug and plug new one in... thanks guys! I would really like a C43 or CD43 in there!

Oh and by the way, I was right about some CD43s being green. CD43s out of MGs light up green, not amber:
I just got my hands on a cd headunit out of a MG which is a rover group. But I thought since it is the same as the CD43 and the radio out of a rover the illumination would be orange, but it is green. I guess MG's have green illumination. This headunit is the same exact unit as the BMW CD43 business cd unit except it has a MG symbol where the BMW would be. I was wondering if there is a way to change the lighting over to orange so it will match my factory lighting. Any help will be appreciated

sorry to revive but been doin research
would my C33's CD changer work if I slapped in a C43 (or a CD43 for that matter)
According to this guy it will. What I was really looking for here was a picture of the back of the unit (here as well) to see if the config was the same as the C33. It seems to be. Same 17 pin plug. And as is mentioned earlir in this thread, double check the illumination color!
Was tempted to change mine, but since the CD43 wasn't available in my production, I've decided to keep looking for a good alternative to the Dice POS. Looks like I might just end up building one. ::::sigh::::
