Update:


I have heard back from roughly half of the people whom I PM'd about purchasing a unit. It will probably be about mid-week, next week, when all the details are worked out and i'm ready to send payment over for the lot of head units. If I don't hear back from the rest of the people before then, the available units will be offered up to the next members in line.

Update. I've been dealing with members purchasing the units via PM. But I figured i'd post up as this has so far been a success. I've received a sample unit from the seller that was in nice condition and fully functional. He has also prepared 10 units, which will be shipping out tomorrow.



We've been talking about possibly going in on some additional units after these get here. So if you did not get a unit this time around and still have interest, let me know.

Yeah, I think we're all pretty pumped about the CD43's. I was pleasantly surprised when I put the unit in my car. It sounds great, definitely better than the stock headunit. Ben took a ride over here to check it out and take a listen. I think he was surprised by the sound quality too. RDS is neat to have, and i'll be pumped to finally have iPod connectivity without my tape adapter, which would make whining and clicking noises after the heat in the unit got to it (i'd usually get about an hour's worth of noise-free operation) :rofl3:.

Interesting. The font on the Rover units is slightly different from that of the BMW unit. It's barely noticeable unless you've seen a BMW CD43 many times. :hmm:

These are used units, most with some level of refurbishment (new displays to match the E36 interior, ect.).

Yes, it will work with your trunk changer.



Yes, it should display text. It's the same unit. The only difference is the logo, and the font of the letters on the buttons on the unit is very very slightly different (although that may just be because the BMW-branded ones I've seen are newer and/or brand new).
