Yeah, my 3.23 grenaded itself with RP in there, and whether it was a coincidence or not I won't take that same chance this time around. Thanks for the website Rich, I guess now I just need to decide between 75w90 and 75w140...

You're fine with either one dude.

But knowing you don't drive your car in cold weather, but do drive the living piss out of it in the summer, i'd probably go with the 140.

If I could have gotten Amsoil locally when I put my diff in, i'd be running that. Instead, I have the M1 with extra limited slip additive in it.

We had about 8 quarts of amsoil 75w90 sitting in the garage so I just threw that in your old 3.23. If we didn't have that already I would've gone for the 75W140.

Good point. Just ordered the 140.

          Nice man! Sounds good...

In addition to the Amsoil gear oil, I just ordered $130 worth of nuts, bolts, and washers from Tischer.... Also ordered $250 worth of bushings, ball joints, and ebrake cables from RM Euro since they were cheaper, but since they don't carry the small stuff like the misc nuts and bolts I used Tischer for those. :shifty:

Everything will be sent out to Proformance Industries for powdercoat Monday morning... hopefully the turn around will be quick enough to allow everything to be pressed in by the machine shop by late Friday so that I can spend next weekend assembling!

Cal - any idea on how to powdercoat the RTAs? do you have to somehow tape off the inner part where the wheel bearing is pressed into? Not sure how tight the tolerances are there...

the shop that powdercoats should be able to mask off the areas that will have stuff pressed into them
