Great review, thank you. I wish the RSs weren't selling for so much more than the GT4/Spyders. The Spyders honestly seem like a reasonable buy right now (If you can call any P car reasonable...).

I had a chance to drive his Spyder this past weekend, and surprisingly enjoyed it. Compared to the 718 GT4 I test drove, I felt like the Spyder could be the better pick for mostly road/spirited driving, given that you hear a lot of the intake and exhaust with the top down. Adds to the experience. We both agree that the motor in the 718 GT4 and Spyder is sporty but not race-like. That's our only gripe. Compared to the S54 and other motorsport-derived motors, the experience of getting to peak power isn't as climactic and visceral. But that's just us being picky. Plenty of power for the chassis, and the cars are quick.
Sport buckets make a big difference if you can get them, too.
