I was asking while I like that meaty look of tyres. I was wondering for a moment if that is 19" setup, but more logicaly it is not, tyre would not have sidewall like that. I am thinking to change to 18" setup, maybe with Apex ARC8. Styling 513 from newer BMWs is great wheel, but then is a in need for spacers rear and maybe to agressive front for my taste.
To be on topic my car:
It has KW V3, Styling 163 CS setup 1st photo and BBS CH 004/017 2nd one. S163 are sold at the moment.
Well that was years ago, but they may still make those sportline wheels. You could also get very close spec-wise with apex arc8s. They were 8.5"/9.5" et 32/22 iirc. The rear offset might have been slightly different, can't quite remember. The tires were Michelin PSS in 245/40 & 275/35 18" I was running a 12mm spacer upfront for the 996 bbk iirc. The rear had a spacer too like 5 or 10mm.
The original CSL wheels are also 8.5/9.5" but the offsets are farther in like 42 & 26 or so.
I have not driven this much since I got this last year. My other car gets all the attention...but it has a date with Kaiv for a manual conversion in a few weeks!
After nearly 12 years with this M3, it’s pretty much complete and set up exactly how I want it. A few more minor projects remaining (Vincebar, paint calipers yellow, maybe E88 wheels, maybe red interior), but the bulk of the work is complete.
Agreed, they look like they could have been factory spec'd on the e46 M3, but damn they're heavy. I have a set of CH-R's on the RS6 and they are chunky
They sure are but since I have set my M3 up to cruise the highway it works perfectly in my current setup. To me they are the perfect wheel for the E46 M3.
I'm located in Palm Coast, opposite coast. Yeah, the CHs look perfect on the E46 platform in my opinion

Just picked up my car from Kaiv and he did amazing work! Me and my friend's M3 touring conversion at the dealership. I'm sure he's on this forum but not sure what his username is lol:
