    Hid lights

Are you all using oem? Of using different bulbs and ballast like morimoto, gtr, etc?

My lights are two different colors i think one is 5500k and the other is either lower or higher. Noticeable difference ce in color when Looking at the lights and it bothers me.

Factory bulb was Osram on mine.

Using Osram Nightbreakers now - factory ones were finally on their way out after 16 odd years.

They're cheap enough. Just buy two. Powerbulbs for good pricing and never pay full price. Can always get 20+% off.

Osrams are the best, no need for any of that other stuff. BMW power bulbs are night breakers for at least double the cost.

Stick with 4.3 to 4.5k for best visibility and for God's sake make sure your headlights are aimed properly ie. not at the ground.

+1 for powerbulbs. They carry genuine Osram bulbs. The ones on amazon are more than likely fake. I just picked up a set of Osram cool blue boost.

That is exactly what I bought in February. Paid about AUD 175. I think it was about 20% off then.

Work perfectly. Nice white light after a few seconds of warm up although probably seemed better as I was going from one dead and the second was a bit purple and flickering.

I did, and heard back from them, saying there isn't an expected resumption date for US shipping 😐

Maybe/sometimes. Not worth rolling the dice on.

Yep I told him the same.

Here is the seller he used, he verified the serial against Osram's site and it's legit. The packaging looked exactly like mine when he sent me the pic.

edit- looks like that guy has some negative feedback, not about bulbs specifically also he ships in envelopes so a gamble

                          The Retrofit Source carries them:

I just bought a set today. I didn't find any red flags to cause me pause in buying a bulb set from them.

While I'm sure fine, I couldn't find any information on Osram's authorized dealers in the US.

TRS uses the cardboard individual part box numbers and I wanted them shipped with the HCB packaging which indicates hard clear box. Sort of odd they'd ship two boxes as opposed to one which most likely has a lower cost from Osram.

The TRS dropdown selection for the product itself indicates duobox which is the term for the clear box. They may certainly ship dual individual boxes. Does it matter much?
