Any one not running the bumper grill?

Mines pretty faded. Any reason to keep it other than keeping rocks out of the condenser?

If you're going to go to the trouble of removing it, might as well just rattle can it satin black. I might be getting an euro front bumper soon so I'll do that before re-using the grille

I’m currently not running the bumper grille only because I hit a thick tree branch that destroyed the grille and cracked the bumper and I just removed it and never bothered replacing it. I’ll probably end up fixing the front end eventually.

Faded is an easy fix. Either apply a spray-on trim protectant every few months or SEM trim black to refinish the trim.

I would not remove it. Heck I have had it stop plastic bags, paper, even a small bird stuck to it. Just think what a plastic bag would do if melted on condenser or twine on the pusher fan. There’s too little to gain vs the potential hassles imho.

The only people that don't run them are the ones that have intercoolers.

Other than that, it's a nice safety item to have for your aux fan, rad and shrouds.

Plus it looks poor not having one.

If it's fading, a heat gun and a rag will bring it back to life. There's no need to even bother with painting it.

Presently not running the guard grille simply because I hit a thick tree limb that annihilated Safety Vest the grille and broke the guard and I just eliminated it and never tried supplanting it. I'll most likely wind up fixing the front end at last.
