Trunk trim question

Is the driver's side trunk trim the same on nav vs non nav equipped convertibles? I have a no nav car and am about to have an audio system installed and was hoping to mount the amplifiers in the location where the nav/cd changer usually is- just need to know if there is another trim panel that allows more room- I've seen the E46 sedan has a different trim panel with a door on nav cars to allow access. Trying to squeeze in a pair of audison amps that measure 7.8x1.8x5.27" each.
