F80 M3 Brakes vs F30 M Sport Brakes

Hi everyone,

Can someone clarify for me the differences between the F80 M3 brakes and the F30 M Sport brakes? I'm not 100% sure, but I always thought the calipers are the same its just the rotor sizes are different. Reason I'm asking, is I want to the F80 M3 brake conversion in the near future and wanted to know if the F30 M Sport calipers would work for me.

Calipers are different between the two.

There is a caliper set that can utilize 370/380mm rotors.
That caliper is found on m sport and the F80 M.
There is a smaller version that is only made for a 340mm rotors. Those came standard on the F30 340i. You can also get them painted blue on any F30 as an optional "brake package".
