Shh... don't encourage more people to buy Z4M fans, lol, they have already gone up like 50% in price in the past couple years. I hope I never need one on my Z4M, but if they do they better not be all gone 😅.

I am running a spal unit, bc of the price point. However, as far as oem fans go, the z4m fan is the most powerful oem option. To what you are saying about shrouds, fans, pricing, you are correct. I'm curious to see what a Z4M fan is going for, I'd imagine a lot more. P#17427542912

That doesn't surprise me, I was going to use that fan. Never found one used for sale at a decent price, so spal is what I ended up with!

It seems the best way. I'll see if there is a load of crud between the condenser and the radiator and take it from there.

It's quite a bit more expensive than the M3 fan, at least in the UK.

I'm pretty sure a non-M fan won't fit on a M radiator because an M radiator is not as tall - because oil cooler.

True but you can swap the shroud. This was only of use when the non-M fan was much cheaper than the M version.

Anyone know if there are any differences? They look the same but the one for the m3 i can only find genuine for like $600. Rock auto shows the part number for the regular 3 Series will work which i can get aftermarket for under $200. Anyone aware if this will work?

Get a used shroud from Mparts... shouldn't be more than $100.

There are no radiator upgrades, stock is best.
