    It seems the best way. I'll see if there is a load of crud between the condenser and the radiator and take it from there.

    It's quite a bit more expensive than the M3 fan, at least in the UK.

    True but you can swap the shroud. This was only of use when the non-M fan was much cheaper than the M version.
