S54/zf320 5 speed dual mass options

Hi all, I have a 5 speed swap and have tried multiple different single mass flywheels but have always struggled with heavy vibrations at ~4800-5200rpm. I decided I would try an OE route so I ordered the 2002 model year Z3M dual mass flywheel and corresponding clutch kit, as well as a new slave cylinder (e36 m but same PN as Z3m)

With everything installed and bled the clutch will no longer engage to separate the engine and trans. Anyone ever tried a similar setup and had similar issues?

Would also welcome any ideas on how else to make a dual mass flywheel work on this setup.

    Thanks!

Not to derail from the path you're already moving down…
But if you’ve tried several different SMF’s, which inherently shouldn’t induce vibration, isn’t the source of vibration something else? And therefore the vibration won’t go away, just be all or partially masked by a DMF? Did you have to do a custom driveshaft with the 5 spd?
