You might want to soap/scrub/clean the engine bay. From the scent they leave behind, rodents can find their way back even after a short period of time. A friend just had this issue with his daily driver. They kept coming back until he throughly cleaned the engine bay and put an ultrasonic rodent repeller under the car.

If the xenon connector boot will stretch and fit, I know those can be purchased. Looks similar though the TPS one is wider, not as round.

I used waterproof electrical tape. I can send you a strip if you’d like lol.
I know you said you wanted to get the original boot but that may be tough to source out…

On a second look it seems they tried the coolant upper hose also.
No thanks, electrical taped up will bother me every time I look at it. Have to be the stock boot.

If there's no damage to the wire i would just electrical tape it and call it a day.

Rat ate my M3 Throttle Switch connector
This morning opened up the hood and saw this -- it was like war declaration when Pearl Harbor was attached. The rats ate the TB switch connector soft chewy silicone boot but the wires and the hard plastic connector have no scratches. They really ate the stuff and not just exercise their teeth as I didn't see the debris but only those tiny bits left on the thermostat housing.
Where can I get the new or good used boot? I will remove the crimped wire/pins off the connector, then replace the boot and put them back.
To avoid this, make sure to open the doors or the hood often enough so those critters don't move in as their home. It was last driven 2 weeks ago and I don't think they will do this for daily drive cars.
