Picking up another E46 M3

Considering picking up another M3 but need some advice on whether it's worth the trouble. If any knowledgeble members could offer me opinions via PM or Instagram it'd be appreciated.

If you get a lemon, you'll have a lot of trouble. If it is in good condition, you should be set!

Get a through PPI from a reputable indy shop and do your risk analysis from there. One forum member Kaiv is the resident expert in SD.

I would hate to buy one (a nice one) in this market unless I made the big bucks. Was thinking E9xM but can't swing that anytime soon.

Seems like there are plenty of them out there, great examples just on some of the major internet auction sites and seeimg as your in what seems to be the #1 E46 M3 car state in the union you may not be going far to find one either.

Why do you want another? One to sit on and one to play with due to the increasing prices?

If we associate the former M3F in that count - I think the worst was the "I used a sock as a temporary oil cap and it got pulled down into the engine. What do I do now?".
