Socal paint shop for CSL trunk

Looking for reputable paint shop in the Socal, Los Angeles/Orange County area to paint my CSL bootlid jet black. Willing to pay a reasonable price. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

What's the ballpark you're you looking at for a paint matched trunk over there?

Go on Yelp and submit a few quote requests and that will give you a ballpark.

I have no experience with them but I get a "if they know/like you they'll do alright but if they don't they won't" sort of vibe.

I don't deal with shops that have intentionally inconsistent quality of work.

If you have no experience with them what makes you think that's the case?



Nate047, I think they charge like 300 a panel, plus the cost of install probably. I got a lot done at once so I'm not sure what the price for one piece would be.

I was considering them after people said they were one option and so I read a bunch of their reviews online (which I never put much stock in) but there was a common undertone and the owner's response was very typical of a shop trying to save face. A little unprofessional in their handling of criticisms made me avoid. It's actually very hard to find a good body shop even in this big socal market.

Kings Auto Body in Huntington Beach. Have used them for years and always pleased with the outcome. Big BMW guys over there.

Yea I can't speak to how they've been historically but regardless the cars they're producing now are top quality. Lip's car, Ra2fanatic's car, DonutRoidz car, plus the shop is filled with collision repair work that looks good.

+1 for Kings Auto Body. Always plenty of M cars in their shop whenever I'm there.
