I'm afraid most people might recommend A&L Auto Body in Palatine, but they did my rear bumper (because everyone told me to go there) and painted over some dirt/hair/whoknowswhat leaving a bumpy/uneven finish in one obvious spot.
I won't be going back.Last edited by Tom Day; 08-28-2021, 05:45 PM.

I don't subscribe to this whole philosophy of let them fix their fuckups. The car should be right coming out of the body shop, if not what's the point? Why do you have to manage their punchlist?
They do this knowing that a certain percentage of people won't notice/care thereby minimizing their work. They don't care about quality or excellence, they're just pushing cars out. If a customer brings their car back well now they're obligated to do what they should have done in the first place. This is what I heard about ABS autobody in LA as well so I'd avoid. Find a body shop that has real qc process that wouldn't release a car unless it's been repaired properly. It's their responsibility to check for their mistakes, not yours.2003.5 MT JB/B - CSL SCHRICK SUPERSPRINT EISENMANN JRZ SWIFT MILLWAY APR ENDLESS BBS/SSR DREXLER KMP SACHS RECARO AR SLON MKRS GSP DMG KARBONIUS CP AUTOSOLUTIONS KOYO
