Looking for anyone with first hand experience on the rogue engineering clutch system utilizing the steel JB flywheel, not the aluminum options. Thanks in advance!

I’ve been running the Rogue Stage 1 Clutch and Single Mass Steel flywheel for 4 years on my street/track (mostly track) car. No issues at all and pretty happy with it. The flywheel does make some noise when the clutch is disengaged. That can be annoying on the street and I wouldn’t run it on my dedicated street E46M.

Also have the rogue\jb steel kit, and there are lots of comments about them on recent threads here. Very hard to have conversations about this since everyone has wildly different tolerances for noise\vibrations and in my experience some of the effects will also depend on you particular transmission. But they are noticeable louder than a stock combo, even a mild kit like rogues. There are some situations where I would say it's very loud to the point I would not have one on a street car, but again, depends on your tolerance.
If you're worried about it I would say it's not worth it. The upsides are very subtle and not worth the cost of redoing it if you can't take the addtional NVH.Last edited by lapoune; 08-31-2021, 12:15 PM.
