    Integrating AFR into datalog

I have Testo and BMWlogger but would like to log AFR for tuning purposes, I understand I can get a gauge but I need the AFR information to be logged alongside other parameters.

Looking for any tips on products like adapter cables etc. so a AFR gauge (such as AEM UEGO) could hook up to laptop via USB and then log on a channel in Testo or other logging software.

I see the AEM UEGO can hook up to a serial port and assume one could then get a serial to USB adapter/driver for it to all work properly.

    Thanks.

Tried the AEM UEGO which unfortunately had problems, warranty process through AEM was smooth so no issues.

Ended up going innovate LC2 which im happy with. No issues with Testo works flawlessly. If you use BMWLogger I think they only support Innovate.

Do ever wish you took readings from both banks? Any real world benefit?

Great question Cubieman glad you asked.

            I do both banks.

Real world benefit is it lets you know if something is going wrong with a fuel injector, plug, etc.

I've been wanting to incorporate wideband readings into an ak display with logging capability for awhile now.

Still waiting for the perfect solution.

Side tracking here but where do you guys keep your gauges? I hate the pillar and the steering column mounts.

This seems a quite viable option.

I don’t. I use the sensor for tuning and then remove it (and the wide bands) for actually using the car.

On a set of Ssv1's is there a "best" location to place the sensor or is it all a wash?

On the V1s, the pre cat and on header post cats O2 bungs are side by side, so I can’t imagine it matters… and you can still have actual post cats in the sections 1, after the cats.

AEM makes a small inline controller if you don't want gauges. Has serial, CAN and analog ouputs. Works well.

Bumping to see if anyone using the LC-2 has went with the analog P3? Sold on the LC-2, considering the vent gauge.

Also, on a side note I've noticed that that my LC2 sometimes rises rapidly and gets stuck at 22.39, wondered if anyone else had a similar issue with the LC2.

I have only used it through Testo and have an Amazon Serial>USB cord I use, I wonder if this is HW, SW related or both.

Its weird and happens quite a bit, makes me question the accuracy, I did calibrate the O2 prior to install per intructions.
