Both pumps sound unhealthy.
The jet pump which was previously inaudible, whines loudly after engine start, then is silent, for 5 seconds, then whines again for 5 seconds.
Main pump is more vocal and sounds a little coarse, so I have a new one waiting.
Have searched for the jet pump.
BMW san fran (via amaz.) indicated that they had shipped one.
Then sent a missive that it was NLA, and there were non in any wharehouses.
This is why I was looking into a starvation kit as an alternative.
