P0011 cam position bank 1 cel code

What am I looking at here a bad sensor? Car still rips no misfiring. Have not had any engine work done.

The p0010, p0011 through to p0015 will say camshaft, but are codes indicative of a failing vanos solenoid.

Looks like I got another project to do. Wonder if I should just do a full vanos rebuild also

Probably.

I didn't because my valvetrain looked absolutely perfect. Like zero wear at the disc/tabs. I should have done Besian's chain guide, but forgot. I did his solenoid and the sealing plate o-rings along with a valve adjustment. Details are in my build journal (2002 car) if you're interested.
