TC Kline DA Rear Shock Rebound Adjustment

Can the TCK DA Rear shock be adjusted while it’s mounted on the car (car on the ground) or does it need to be removed (or that corner lifted off the ground) for rebound adjustment?

    On the ground is fine.

      thanks!

It appears that the issue is height, my car is too low and rebound wouldn’t do much. I need to raise the car 1/2”.

edit: I don’t want to deviate too much from a 500lb spring, if this doesn’t work, I’ll probably go a stiffer spring route.

Regardless of spring rate, suspension geometry degrades pretty rapidly if you set the ride height below 13” center cap to fender in the rear (13.5” up front).

500lb linear spring is pretty soft fyi. Even stock tops out at almost 700lbs (progressive 345lb-685lb).

I was corrected in that TCK shock contraction distance doesn’t change with rebound adjustment, so rebound adjustment wouldn’t do anything but ruin the ride. I like the 500lb springs, I’ll raise it up a bit and see where things go.

I wanted to reduce the distance of shock travel.
