    Bixenons in Halogen Housing

Some of the lens tabs on my bixenons are busted and a bit of moisture gets in at times. I notice that the Magnetti Marelli Halogens are like $200 a pop so that got me wondering how straightforward it would be to just get a set of halogens and "swap" the bixenons into the halogen housing. Has anyone done this before?

Why not just buy some used housings and new lenses/seals? Good as new.

They go for about as much used and usually have some broken clips or tabs anyways. Not to mention it would be a gamble given that the old plastic may just as well break anyways and leave me right where i started

I ran into the same issue over the weekend. I had condensation getting into my passenger side. I ordered a Genuine replacement gasket. Upon the de-install one of the holding tabs was broken. It sucks, because the rest of the headlight is absolutely mint. Curious to know what you come up with if there are any affordable options available.

I'm also in a similar boat, however, my corner light tabs are the ones that are broken. I assumed the housings are the same but couldn't find a part # on them. Following.

Thanks for the heads up on the headlight seals.

I took apart my bi-xenon headlights and replaced an ignitor as the passenger side light wasn't working after swapping bulbs to narrow it down to the headlight unit itself. When I was putting it all back together, I cleaned up everything (DO NOT TOUCH THE CHROME PARTS AT ALL) and bought OEM lens'. I'm unsure if I did the seals or reused the old ones, but I too had condensation on the passenger side. Hopefully these new seals fix it, thanks!
