Has anyone invested time to see if a x-piped section one with resonators is beneficial? I think that would really help the noise and maybe gain some power too. Anyone got info?

Seems like the best place for the merge is in the beginning of sect 2, but we did see some H pipes in sect 1 like from CPI, to good effect. But that's H pipe, x pipe will kill torque I'd guess. You'll get a better bang from going to 2.5" from 2.16/2.25" than putting an extra merge into sect 1 I'd guess.DD: /// 2011.5 Jerez/bamboo E90 M3 · DCT · Slicktop · Instagram

X and H will be just about exactly the same across the board if located at same spot and al else is equal and the system is fundamentally sized correct to begin with. With a system on the small side the x will perform slightly better as it’s a more efficient design from flow ( reducing back pressure)

Side exhaust, race exhaust, Im surprised to see a "muffler" on that. I mirror what Tbonem3 said. But fitting that to a car would be mega cool, that and doing some dyno runs, diagnostics.2006 Silber Grau Metalizat ZCP 6 MT
