    Trunk unlocking issues

As of late the vast majority of the time when I attempt to open my trunk either with the button inside the vehicle or with the key fob I hear the lock actuator "double click" as if it trys to open twice and the result is the trunk remains locked.

To open I must use the key fob and apply upward force while unlocking to "catch" it at the right moment before it locks again if that makes sense.

I have a CSL trunk that is well aligned, or so I think. I thought it may be a misaligned striker but now I'm not so sure.

The lower latch and/or rubber stops on the bootlid need to be adjusted. I've also seen it where everything is adjusted just about well enough, but when the outside temps drop, the double latch will happen more frequently. It just needs more adjustment.

Unscrew the rubber stops enough so that when closed, they’ll apply that slight upwards force
