Surprised it was painted white as a collector would probably want the livery as raced.

I saw all of the PTG E46 M3 race cars while they were campaigning. 3-4 visits to PTG. This looks quite different inside and out. I suspect that its been fairly re-worked since PTG sold it.

ETA: I'm surprised they removed the original livery. That would have made the car worth significantly more.

IIRC, BMW acknowledged that the S54 would not be able to compete at that level.

Reached out to my contact who formerly worked with PTG.

It's a 2002 BMW Motorsport E46 M3 GT Grand AM race car built by PTG and powered by the BMW S62 dry sump engine custom modified by PTG. It's been in several accidents in Australia and needs a complete rebuild starting with the naked chassis. Said it would be worth 100-115k.
