    Michelin tire question

Hey guys, I have BBS LM 19X11 and 19X9.5 on order. I've been looking at different tires. It seems like my only options are Michelin Pilot 4S and Michelin Pilot Cup 2. The car doesn't get driven very often so I'm fine with the low treadwear on Cup 2's.. My issue is I don't want the square look all around. I know that may get frowned upon on here but I really like the stretched look where the walls of the tire curve and they're not exactly straight and square (if this makes sense).

I'm looking to run a 265 30 19 in the rear and a 235 35 19 in the front. These same sizes on a Hankook Ventus tire look great but I'm worried they'll look a little too square with Michelins.

Heres a BBS LM 11" wide on a Hankook 265 tire. Notice how its a little stretch and the tire sorta curves and doesnt look square? I'm looking to achieve this but with a Michelin tire.

    Thanks in advance.

I don't think you have to worry about those tire sizes on those wheels looking squared.

      Get PS4S not cup2s

I wouldn't have ordered an 11" rear, but since that's what you have, I'd do 255/285 or at least 245/275. I don't even know if 235/265 would fit. Maybe you meant stretched, not squared look?

I’ve actually been thinking of doing 245/275 instead. I just hate the square look in the sidewalls. I like them curved a bit. I don’t care if it looks a little stretched.

Ps4 is pretty much my only options since super sports aren’t available in the sizes I want.

FYI: I had 19x9.5 at one point and even with 265/35 (Michelin A/S 3+) there was stretch, definitely not square.

I would do 265/275. PS4s are generally rounder in the edges.

That is what im running on 10/10.5 F/R

Its not stretched but also not square

You need at least 285 tire for 11" rim. Why you ordered 11" rear rim ?? It's definitely too wide. You should go 9 " front and 10" rear with 245/275 tires. Try 255/285 with those rims, I wouldn't install anything smaller ....

People likes that stretched look for some reason and doesn't really understand the safety issues side of it.

And some people like small wheels. I’ll never understand it.

Thank you for your input. I’m gonna go with 245/275 and I’m gonna make it functional for the street since I don’t track anyway.

I ended up going with a 245/275 setup. 18x9 front and 18x10 rear.

Z3 Coupe The Michelin tire is such a better-looking tire than continental. It just catches your eye almost immediately.

Oh no doubt. I've always thought the sidewall embossment was really cool, especially the checkered flag. I think my original PS1's even had that. Race car!

Finally, someone who get it! I was about to pull the trigger on cup 2’s just bc it had more checkered flags and a better looking sidewall haha. PS4 are more practical though.

                            Nice wheel setup though 👍

Cup2s can be unsafe for the street. Ps4s is a better street tire.
