2022 G80 Comp xDrive. Drove it 17k miles in year one - best daily I've owned.

I've been thinking about shipping my Jetta from MD since it just sits at my parents house. Might be cheaper than buying and registering a 4th car.

Also there's been a nice ROI if we sold on both, so far. E55 prices, clean examples st least, are on the rise. 13/14 Gen 1 Raptors are also holding value.

I know… luckily there’s almost never enough road… cylinder deactivation helps you reclaim the gas as you drop back down from 110mph.

I get asked this a lot!

The short answer is they're high on smiles per gallon.

I specifically sought out a low mileage/clean example 6.2 Raptor over a low mileage eco boost gen 2/3. The e55 was purchased to be my daily when I had a longer commute, and sadly doesn't get driven much now days. It mostly keeps the M3 and S2000 company in the garage unless the wife needs to take clients somewhere. I think the e55 finally reached 65k miles this weekend. No clue still how many mpg's it gets, but I can tell you how quickly and comfortably it reaches 140mph+

2015 X5 35i with stage 1 tune and 2017 honda civic. I love driving the civic because it gets 41 mpg on the freeway and requires minimal maintenance. I also hate driving it because it isn't a fun place to be in. My F15 X5 is so comfy and is plenty fast. Love driving it but it barely gets 20mpg.

As far as I know KW is the only coilover option and they really nailed it with the spring rates and valving out of the box. There are a handful of spring kits which people seem to be happy with though. BMW just really went way too stiff with the stock springs, and the softest EDC setting was under-damped and just made the ride bouncier, not smoother. The KWs delete the EDC, but I'd rather have one correct damper setting and no EDC than three compromised electronic damper settings.
