I haven't either which is surprising as they do seem to have more eclectic vehicles than say Barrett-Jackson.
Not an E46 but last time I was as Barrett-Jackson we got to see Paul Walker's E36 M LTW's auctioned off, I think there were 5 or 6 in a row, then a beautiful white E30 M3 as well.
Edit: Also, has anyone else noticed that with these huge televised auctions sometimes when a unique/different (non-muscle car) crosses the block they either go to commercial or they hand it off the hosts walking around giving their shit opinions of what they see, shut up and show me the German stuff already.
I've gone to a few of those in person, and watched this phenomenon from the perspective of other cars. There's often just not a lot of German stuff there, and certainly not a lot of the "cooler" ones. You'll get some base MBs or BMWs, but not a lot of M or AMG cars, or even Porsches. You'll get the high money old stuff (Gullwings, a Porsche tractor, you know, the historic stuff). But I've only seen one "young classic" and that was MB 500E (the Porsche built one), and the audience summarily dismissed it, didn't even know what it was. Someone stole that car and immediately flipped it. It has changed hands a couple times since in 3 years.
