Interesting, I wonder if someone can mock up those spacers and that might work the same.

yes, if you look at the pictures on ECS, they show you where the double sided tape makes contact.Originally posted by BMWahba View PostYep, epoxy is the most logical solution. Unless we could design a 3d printed spacer or something that the rails could adhere to that are then taped to the roof rail. Do the OEM CSL rails use double sided tape?

Thats the issue.. Then, we could epoxy a small spot to hold it down but when I end up getting csl rails, how much of a pain will it be to pull up lolOriginally posted by BMWahba View Post
I have this exact same predicament, some have recommended me to use double sided tape, but I tried and can't get enough contact.

the metal roof has tabs that it attaches too and the CF roof now doesnt. Trying to figure how I can attach these things so they dont fly off.

Any decent body shop can do this. Its more time consuming than technically difficult. There is a lot of anxiety on spending this much money to rip off a perfectly good roof but looking at the roof everyday I have no regrets.

Cool mod, bit of a steep price for 52lbs and an inch of headroom, but I get it.
