    ABS Control Module Question

    Hi all.

I'm looking for a tiny bit of help. Here is my situation:

-- Recently we took a somewhat modded S54 engine from a 2002 M3 and swapped that engine into a 2005 M3 (Comp Package) chassis.

We're getting codes suggesting a bad ABS Control Unit. Does someone know the correct replacement part in this situation?

    Thanks.

    2002 m3 uses mk20 abs/dsc
    2005 chassis uses mk60

Did you use the ECU from the 2002 or 2005?

Used the 2005 ECU - guessing then I need the MK60?

Unless you swapped the DSC from the 2002 car you should have an mk60 in the 2005 car. I bet its a wiring harness issue (assuming you used the harness from the 05 as well?)

Check that the connector on the MK60 is good and seated, they are known to become loose or get corroded.

What codes exactly are you getting?
