    Best options for interior replacement

I've always loved the look of the cinnamon interior - especially with a blue M3 like I have (Mystic Blue Metallic). The Dove Grey I have is ok, but man... That cinnamon is nice!

What do you folks think is the best way to go about doing this? Having someone dye my current interior, try to find a gently used cinnamon, etc?

with the used market you're pretty much at the whim of whoever is willing to sell at the moment. it's not like people here are trying to offload entire interiors on a regular basis

if you're happy with the current condition of your, interior see how much it'd cost to dye it. you're never going to get a perfect match to a brand new cinammon interior but it's leather, there's variance even with OE cinammon leather

I would be patient and wait until a gently used interior comes up for sale (though don't know how likely a used cinnamon interior will just show up).

I never trusted myself to dye an interior and worry to much that itd look worse than stock.

I certainly wouldn't be dying it myself - that's what professionals are for. lol

I understand that 16 years later, the interiors may be hard to come by, but if that's the best option, then what places should I keep an eye on?

Check out Bmwrestoredseats on Instagram. Johnny does some serious work and often has full interiors for sale.

I think dying your interior is something you could definitely do yourself. I've read some threads on the M3Cutters that ended up being super good work, going exactly from Grey to Cinnamon, you just need to take your time with the preparation of each piece. Definitely a summer time project though, the weather needs to be kind in terms of drying. If I had to choose a company to go with, it'd be Furniture Clinic out of the UK, seem to have the best match.

Edit: Fixed Dove to Grey, it's habitual as I had a 1995 M3 in Alpine and Dove. :P

I would love to change my Dove interior to Navy blue, but I cannot even imagine what it would cost.

There is no such thing as dove gray interior for the e46.

This is like people calling lsb paint estoril.

Starting from a grey interior is the most difficult as you have some grey dash parts and carpet as well I believe?
You can always regularly check facebook marketplace as more and more people are parting these cars out, maybe you will get lucky!

For what it’s worth, I’ll be selling a cinnamon interior whenever my car comes out of the paint shop. The driver’s seat is fairly worn though. I’m in Delaware.
