Help needed

Hello everyone, I’m experiencing issues on my 02 m3 smg. My reverse would go forward but it’ll beep that indicates in reverse & when in gear it’ll start off as 2nd, it’ll skip 3rd & 4th then go 5th. Afterwards it’ll jerk & die out. I’ve changed my gear position sensor & took it to the shop for adaptation( relearn gears ) & it failed. Could someone give me some pointers on thoughts. It would be helpful to have the specific codes the module is giving you. Do you have INPA or DIS?

There was another guy on the old forum who had the same issue after installing GPS and it turned out it wasn't installed correctly. Can't for sure remember but seems like a piece wasn't fully seated.

Here's the cable I got and it works with windows 10. Microsoft forced the update on my computer so I had to find one that was compatible. It works. I just actually adapted my SMG yesterday with no codes so the software works.
