Always wanted some cinnamon in my otherwise-black leather interior - so here's the opportunity to do it to a degree with this leather cover for the centre console (have to respray first)

To be happy with the results, you're going to need to thin the leathers at the seams an/or carve out space below the seams.
I've tried to go down this route. It was rough... and my wife is a fashion designer, so we had a bit of an edge going in. I ended up buying the OE BMW version.

You need to start with the right type of leather. The hides are shaved at various thicknesses at the tanneries depending upon their purpose.
10/10 your diy will look shite, leave this one to the professionals.2003.5 MT JB/B - CSL SCHRICK SUPERSPRINT EISENMANN JRZ SWIFT MILLWAY APR ENDLESS BBS/SSR DREXLER KMP SACHS RECARO AR SLON MKRS GSP DMG KARBONIUS CP AUTOSOLUTIONS KOYO

Sounds like a fun project! Will definitely be tricky to get it to fit correctly and look factory, but worth a shot on the cheap. Worst case I noticed ECS sells the genuine cinnamon ones for $260 right now, which all things considered is pretty cheap: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...xoCtfcQAvD_BwE. Considering picking one up to add to my cinnamon interior.

Leather all glued - just needs some final trimming. Very time consuming as you need to do a section at a time. I started at the front and worked to the back focussing on the seams and aligning the cutouts in the leather to the corresponding places. You need to shrink the leather to fit as you go.
