Whats the diameter of the married washer?
I don’t think the diameter of the washer should matter as long as it bites well into the bushing surface.
Amazon.com: Nord-Lock Wedge Locking Washers - Steel (Delta Protekt) Washer, Vibration Resistant Safety Washers for M14 Bolts, with Zinc Flake Coating - 10 Pairs : Industrial & Scientific
Diameter of the married washer = 28mm
My Nord Lock washer = 23mm

About to cut off married washer on front diff. bolt and replace with a Nord Lock washer but wonder if the smaller diameter is a negative?

It was tough to get the socket and torque wrench on the upper rear bolts (tight against floor). The etorx sockets are a bit tall, but I found that a 6 point 7/16" socket fit the etorx bolt perfectly and was short enough to fit. I used my TechAngle to get the 90 degrees. For anyone shopping for affordable angle measuring torque wrenches Home Depot now offers one for $159.00.
I have the CMP bushings as well. For the front bolt I believe I used a short socket and a short swivel extension. It was a bit nerve wracking. I wish I had heard about the nord locks before I put it together.

Was in the garage anyway, so took a quick peek under the car. I did indeed use the nord lock in place of a regular washer.

Definitely need to cut the married washer off the bolt (or replace with equiv size/grade/length bolt) for the nord lock to work as intended. I use these nord lock washers for smaller applications but never thought to use them for larger bolts.
I guess cutting the original washer it is...

In the pic, where I'm holding the bolt with my fingers is where this nord lock will go, which will ensure that the original washer and bushing don't move relative to each other, but washer to bolt head is smooth...
Do you remove the original washer and replace it with this nord lock to make sure the head of the bolt relative to the bushing doesn't move?

Smaller nord lock between washer and head of the bolt
To be completely honest, I can't remember what I did, but I do remember thinking about the same thing. Since I have a bigger bolt (i.e. not the stock one with integrated washer), I might have just removed the regular washer I used and replaced it with the nord lock.
Regardless, I don't really see an issue with cutting off the washer and replacing with the nord lock.

Ended up pulling stuff apart shortly after making that last comment. It's been about a year of hard driving and a couple track days and it hasn't backed out yet!
