I don't complain about filling up, but how would you two feel if your price doubled in a year?

Just about half as bad as I felt when I moved from the US back to Germany. Back then it was a 4x increase.

But I get it, any increase sucks. Just mind there's still some people off worse.😉

Expensive US prices are still about half of pricing here in southern Germany.

When I was in Italy it was about 90 Euros to fill up on diesel in an Audi A4. I was floored at the price. I did get almost 1000km out of each tank though.

No, that's the ruble. The dollar was up 7% in 2021, and it is performing well relative to other currencies. Furthermore, inflation is much more a global political issue than a domestic one.
