Karbonius has said the plenum will be available today on their website and I have sent through the email list to them. If you're on the list, you should receive your discount code soon.

Today they also tested the plenum on the dyno and found it was +4HP, but noted that this is not really significant but certainly looks like there is no loss.

I hope to install mine this weekend and do some testing. With a bit of luck I'll post up some video before next week.

Can someone compare this + Eventuri vs full CSL airbox for noise and power? There may be a chance that this +Eventuri is around the same volume and power as a CSL airbox.

I'm planning to try this and I think I have located a local person with a full CSL-style intake to help. This is just a test for sound, though, I'm planning to do any power runs.

Not yet. Because some people wanted a few things confirmed before committing (no power loss and testing by me), they are going to wait to send out the coupons.

Some good news: the first production plenum has shipped and is on its way to me.

I'm hoping to do some side-by-side testing with a local E46 M3 owner who has a CSL-style intake.

Karbonius also has a plenum on their E46 and are putting some km on it.

Yep - I've got an Eventuri. Getting decent representative sound in a video is a challenge, but I've been trying a few things, so hopefully I'll have a good process when the plenum arrives. One thing that would be good is to get a Perth car with a full CSL-style intake for comparison. Do you know anyone?

I passed on a few more questions to Karbonius, which they are addressing.

One person asked if forged carbon is possible for the plenum, with the answer being 'no'.

Another person asked if it is possible to test the plenum to make sure it doesn't result in a loss of power, which Karbonius is going to do.

A few people also wanted someone to test the plenum before buying and Karbonius thinks that's a good idea before making it available. They will send the first one to me and I'll test and report back.
