I pulled my A/C this weekend for various reasons and don't plan on putting it back in. I took the condenser, all lines, dryer, and compressor out. Now the aux fan runs at full speed all the time. Any one know why this is the case and if there is a way to get the aux fan to run only when engine temp is an issue? I have also removed the stock puller fan so I would like to retain at least one fan.

Aux fan running full-time sounds pretty good for a track car
Maybe you can wire in switch for continuity so that it can be turned off when not sitting?

read similar on another forum after a bit of searching. I will try this this weekend when I am with the car and report back.Originally posted by foolio View PostIt’s been a few years but I believe I had the same issue and to fix it I just plugged in the AC pressure sensor. I just zip tied it out of the way.

This makes sense as the unplug wire might have the floating (unconnected) voltage level default to be like a high pressure Freon flows in the pipe.Originally posted by foolio View PostIt’s been a few years but I believe I had the same issue and to fix it I just plugged in the AC pressure sensor.
