Could one simply peel back the boots and then re-clamp?
Your grease HAS liquified...much of it.

Clip one or both clamps off. Use a catch pan and spray a can or more of brake clean in your bearings to remove most of the old grease. I bought 30ml syringes on Amazon. I use a small spoon to pack one with Redline CV2 grease and inject that in to your CV bearings. You will need several syringes full. then, use a very thick sturdy zip tie instead of hose clamps. You can get them plenty tight. My boots don't leak any grease.

Purchase a bottle of 303 Aerospace Protectant For Rubber, Vinyl and More. I buy it by the gallon. Saturate the OUTSIDE of your boots with this.

Use it on your leather and steering wheel and all interior vinyl. Submerge any new rubber serpentine belt in it for 30 minutes before install. Give the belt a spray whenever you are detailing under your hood with the 303.
I spray my new tires with 303 too. You can put it right on the tread! Dries matte, not slippery like Armor All. Zero silicone in 303.
