I live in South Florida so I am grateful my AC has always worked well on my 2005. I have only added gas twice. Perhaps 8oz each time many years apart.
Even though it is still working well, would it be prudent maintenance to extract and recycle the refrigerant, vacuum it down and add a new dryer?
The car has the original dryer from when the car was first built.
