My SMG pump died after 13 years of owning my 2006 BMW M3 and at over 5k to replace, I decided to swap to manual transmission with short throw shifter. Main reason was due to parts shortage currently for a new SMG pump and I really do not want to wait 6 months to get my car back. Plus manual shift more fun and I don't drive much so should make sporty times. Cost about same and hope the manual is more reliable than the SMG.

Gt4 His guy won't install used or rebuilt parts. Not even Burk... I tried to put in a plug for you.
