E46 M3 Operating Fluids Information, BMW Approved Greases and Additives (WIP)

I will be editing and adding to this over time rather than all in one lump sum. This will take hours to search for so bear with me. If I miss one, let me know. Cntrl + F is your friend.
This is a brief mention of info on e46 M3 maintenance/lockdown thread - NA M3 Forums however, this is to give actually details, part numbers, and accurate intervals. My source is not a mechanic or a shop, it is BMW.

    Engine Oil
    Additives:
    Known specs:
    Weight:10W60
    Shelf life:
    Maintenance Interval:
Approved brands: Shell manufactures OEM, LL 01 spec required, Castrol TWS Supercar still has the ok from BMW
    Part number:

    Transmission Fluid
Additives: "BMW manual gearboxes are designed in such a way that there is absolutely no need to use oil additives."
    Known specs:
    Weight: 75W80
    Shelf life:
Maintenance Interval: BMW states "lifetime" however this doesn't exist.
    Approved brands: BMW
    MTF-LT-2
    Part number: 83 22 2 339 219

    SMG
    Additives: None
    Known specs:
    Weight:
    Shelf life: 5 years
Maintenance Interval: None officially, however it's a good idea to not exceed 5 years due to shelf life
    Approved brands: Pentosin CHF11S
    Part number: 81 22 9 407 758

    Power Steering(when ATF is used)

    Known specs:
    Weight: Dex VI
    Shelf life:
    Maintenance Interval:
    Approved brands:
    Texaco
    Part number: 81 22 9 400 272
Note: CHF and ATF oils must not be mixed. The oil types are indeed compatible, but if there is more of the one type in the steering gear than the other, this adversely affects the properties of the other oil. it is permissible to mix Pentosin CHF 4548 with CHF 7.1
