    F30 BMW rims on the e46 M3?

    Hello,

I bought my car with some aftermarket rims that are not exactly to my liking. Ideally I would like to buy a set of Apex EC-7R but I spent most of my car part budget for the year on mechanical stuff. And, like everything, these seem to be unavailable in the set I want.

I would still like to replace the ones I have, and noticed you can sometimes find good deals on used BMW take off rims. So, I have been looking at classifieds for used BMW rims off newer BMWs, notably off of the F30 cars. Specifically I found the 441m style comes in 18x8, offset of 34mm. These are a little thinner then the 18x9 I have though.

Anyone know of any fitment issues with using these rims? Any other BMW rims that fit alright? Or should I just skip this and look at something different?

    Thanks.

Probably won’t look too good. Just buy some cheap OEM 18/19’s and call it a day until you have enough for the rims you want

I get it's not OEM. I don't mind the look just don't want to spend some money and find they don't fit. OEM rims are pretty pricey from what found and I need new tires regardless. So I figured why spend a bunch of money on new tires for rims I don't like when I can get some rims I somewhat like with decent tires for a bit less. It's a temporary measure. Might end up with a set of zcp rims at the end of the day but need something to drive on until then.

The ones I have found with decent tires are the 403m styling. Specs are 19x8 ET36 and 19x8.5 ET47. Would these fit the E46? Tires on them are same as the OEM ones listed for 19 inch rims on the Sticky here.

Car is just a fun road car, no tracking at all.

      Thanks.

Well.. they are OEM, just for a different car.

The problem is more that they are completely the wrong size. They will look like shit, especially in the rear. That's if they even clear the strut with how high the offset is in the rear. It will look like you have a space saver on lol.

        Get something else.

don't waste your money on getting a set of OE wheels and regret it. Just save up and wait for the time to get the wheels of your choice....
