FS: Structural Foam (Teroson Terocore EP1401) cartridges 175 ml

This product is the same as the discontinued "structural foam" used by BMW to reinforce our RACPs

I bought 9 x 175ml cartridges from Europe and brought them to Canada to reinforce my RACP cavity but I changed my mind and decided to wait until I get Redish V3 plates welded before putting the structural foam. This product has a short shelf life so I am offering it for sale.

I am selling each cartridge $50 + shipping at your expense. I will be shipping from Canada so any duty/taxes are to be paid for by the buyer.

Here are details of the product: https://www.klium.com/terocore-1401-...2550091-913491

The product has a "use by" date in July 2022

I also have the cavity foam that is required to install, which I am selling $105.26 https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-573815-cavity-foam/

Good point. I'm not used to the forum that much. Admins, feel free to delete the thread and let me know I will re-post in a classified. For now, I won't repost since that would create a duplicate.

If I may, considering the climate in most of Canada, I would recommend using epoxy for the plates rather than welding. Epoxy works perfectly (if it works for jet planes and other even more extreme applications than I think E46 subframe can handle it) and will not make your RACP prone to rusting whereas welding always will, no matter what you use to paint/protect it afterwards. If you choose to go this route, you can inject the foam before it expires. If you're stuck on welding, you should know that there are documented successful examples of people welding plates onto previously foam-injected RACP without any issues...

Good luck in any case from a fellow Canadian who has already injected all 4 RACP subframe mount cavities - my subframe is holding up perfectly fine without plates (although I do have a Mason subframe brace tying the rear mounts to shock towers, etc) but I ever chose to do them, I will certainly be using epoxy rather than welding even though my car gets stored in the winter...

        Cheers

          Thanks!

You really are making me think about it. The foam injection was what I had decided to do back when I bought the foam but I'm reading about it on CMP engineering's website (they literally say that epoxy creates a brittle bond and is prone to detach) and forums and really don't know anymore. There just is not that much data on what works but the foam solution always made sense to me. Glad to hear it worked for you. I guess I could do a Vincebar on top if I want to preserve the trunk space.

          Cheers,

How much of a pain in the balls was it to ship them from europe? Did they give you any problems with customs? I called the dealer and they gave me a different part number which apparently they have in stock, however it crosses to a different Henkel part. That bmw number is 83192464575

I can't tell if you're doing this to troll, but the forum is very simple to navigate. If you look at "E46 (2001-2006)" below that you can click on "E46 parts for sale/want to buy" listed as a "sub forum". The other option is you can click on "E46 (2001-2006)" and from that page can click on "E46 parts for sale/want to buy" immediately listed at the top as a "Sub Forum". E46m3zcp
