What was the final price on this? You stole it if it went for 27k. The tamper dot and lack of big 3 must have scared people away.

I've looked into an S54/E39 swap and the devil is in the details. 90% of the work takes 10% of the time kind of thing. I really want to drive one as I feel the S54 isn't the right engine for the E39 chassis but I'd like to experience it myself.

I feel like this could be great, but this one isn't particularly well executed. I don't like the idea of an s54 with a 5-speed.

I doubt this is better than an e34 M5 either, although I have heard, but do not personally know, about the s38's problems.

wow yea that is quite interesting. Is this running MSS54? Im not too familiar with e39 DME's. Surprised its still using the e39 gauge cluster.

Good deal loading... a dry ice cleaning would have been money well spent here. But the BSW subwoofer is a bonus.

Grey interior was designed by the same Germans who put one chili flake in their Thai food and shoot you a little sly devilish look

No NAV and different interior color would probably bring even more $$$$$

The best shot you have a sub-100k GT3 right now would be the 996. Even these have gone up over the last 1-2 years, they're selling between $100-120k, wild when you think a 991.1 GT3 is right around ~110-130k. Those E/F engines are a bit of a ticking time bomb though and the 10-year Porsche warranty is finally starting to run out on the 2014's. I'm in the market for a GT3 drivers car, so lets see.
