It turns out the 111k LSB car sold to the second bidder at a lower price. This, along with the 66k IB (marked as sold) where the buyer backed out and probably a few other cars, gives an idea of how bad the data is on BaT's site.

E39 not E46 M, but this was an eye opener at $101K: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...omments-anchor

Bid for the chance to own a 2005 BMW M3 Coupe at auction with Bring a Trailer, the home of the best vintage and classic cars online. Lot #153,344.

This one looks relatively decent, Alpine over Cinnamon, 65k mile SMG.

I personally know the folks over at BMW of Sarasota, from when I first bought my car in 2011. My service advisor then is Service Manager now. Great crew over there. This is probably a peach of a car, given the CarFax.

Take these 2 cars. More or less the same vehicle, with the same mileage, same color, similar condition, both 6MT.

20K difference in price.... why? Just the LCI and ZCP package? I know Hagerty values LCI cars quite a bit higher, but I didn't think it was 20 grand.

If you had to choose between two sisters with the same miles but one was 30 while the other was 22 and dressed up a little sexier, you'd take the 22 year old.

2019 tires are perfectly fine. Tires can be sold as new up to 4 years after manufacture date.
